Lars Winkler

As a partner of the firm, Lars Winkler specializes in the areas between the law of social-insurance carriers and the civil and insurance law. With high average years of experience, he maintains senior-level supervision of all areas of civil law, particularly law of contract, corporate and labor law.

His practice areas also include advising national and international clients, in particular from England (pension and insurance funds), from Holland and Belgium. He is fluent in writing and speech in Dutch.

Lars Winkler conducted many outsourcing cases, in particular public law insurance corporations. He drew up outsourcing contracts, service level agreements and other IT-contracts, both for the service companies (IT-companies) as well as for the benefit recipient.

Another main point of his practice areas is the public procurement law, both for the solicitor and for the tenderer.

In the area of corporate law, his experience goes from the establishment and transformation of form of the "Legal Due Diligence" to examining and advising on all essential contracts.

His expertise as an attorney at law specializing in labor law and his knowledge in corporate law, are essential parts in advising clients on D&O liability disputes (board of directors´ liability, D&O-litigations).

Furthermore, he advises companies and public law corporations on the planning and implementation of workforce reductions, partial shut downs and outsourcing, particularly considering § 613 a German Civil Code (BGB), the regulations of the collective labor law as well as the rights to represent the work force of the public service.

In the area of national and international corporate law, particularly the distribution right, he formed contracts of distributors, franchises and commercial agents. He is in charge of the judicial assertions as well as the defense of the compensatory claims according to § 89 b HGB.

After being an assistant professor and having worked as a legal coach for two years, Lars Winkler has worked as a lawyer at the law firm Woedtke & Rezsel and as a partner later on and is now also working as a partner at Wilhelm Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten.
