Wilhelm awarded Insurance Law Firm of the Year
Besides being awarded as Insurance Law Firm of the Year Germany, Wilhelm Rechtsanwälte also won in the category Private Equity Law Firm of the Year Germany.
The Finance Monthly Law Adwards annually honor leading business law firms across the globe. The selection is based upon a quantitative assessment of reader votes and a qualitative evaluation by the british magazine's editorial research team.

Legal 500 Guide recommends Wilhelm Rechtsanwälte
The ranking is based on a survey among more than 14,000 clients and lawyers and on a market review by the Guide's editorial staff. Legal 500 is renowned as one of the most important and reliable international law firm rankings. This year's edition for the first time listed a ranking for Insurance (Dispute Resolution) in Germany.

Wilhelm launches Berlin office
The office will be led by partner Dr. Axel A. Thoenneßen (46). Thoenneßen joins Wilhelm from his own well-established law firm in Düsseldorf and Berlin. He specializes in insurance law as well as in medical law and has many years of litigation experience.
Thoenneßen will be supported by Of Counsel Beliz Dağlı (41) who is qualified in insurance law, social law and medical law, and by Of Counsel Werner Becker who specializes in corporate law and criminal law.
Following the demand of Wilhelm’s clients, the Berlin office will advise companies and decision makers comprehensively on complex insurance, liability and corporate matters in critical situations. Thoenneßen and Dağlı have particular expertise in advising healthcare providers as well as pharmaceutical and medical technology companies. Wilhelm thus further strengthens its healthcare practice.
“We notice a rising demand for specialized advice in the Berlin area. Industry has been growing recently, there are major associations and political institutions, and the connection to Eastern Europe is strategically important for us“, explains Dr. Mark Wilhelm, partner and founder of the law firm.
