[...] Die Versicherungsbranche lässt Unternehmenskunden aktuell mit vielen existenzbedrohenden Herausforderungen allein und läuft deshalb Gefahr irrelevant zu werden. Das sagte der Düsseldorfer Fachanwalt für Versicherungsrecht Mark Wilhelm auf der Businessforum-Jahrestagung in Köln. Ein Weg könnte sein, bedarfsgerechte Deckungen zu entwickeln. „Ich glaube, dass wir genau das tun müssen, um relevant zu bleiben“, sagte Wilhelm.
Derzeit gebe es für die großen Herausforderungen keine Versicherungen, seien es hohe Energiepreise, Strom-Blackouts und Gasmangel, Inflation, der Fachkräftemangel oder eine mögliche Rückkehr der Corona-Pandemie.
Auch für Cyberrisiken und Lieferketten-Probleme gebe es nur teilweise Lösungen oder nur für manche Unternehmen. Lediglich das Naturkatastrophenrisiko könne befriedigend abgesichert werden, kritisierte Wilhelm. „Alle anderen Risiken sind neu und wir haben keine Antwort darauf.“ [...]
Inzwischen sei die Situation so, dass Großunternehmen sich zwar noch gut gegen Cyberrisiken versichern können, Mittelständler hätten es dagegen zunehmend schwer. „Das ist eigentlich schade, dass wir den Mittelstand im Regen stehen lassen“, sagte Wilhelm. [...]
