Luka Schmidt

Luka Schmidt advises and represents clients in litigation and critical situations. She examines complex issues, such as breaches of duty in management or compliance incidents, and advises on economically sensible and legally possible courses of action. Her consulting focuses are on liability law, insurance law and corporate law.

Luka studied law at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and worked for several years in the field of commercial law at an international law firm during her studies. During her legal clerkship, she gained experience in representing clients in commercial law disputes and advising English-speaking clients (from UK and US) on legal issues in cross-border business transactions. Since early 2025, the sports enthusiast has been part of the Wilhelm team at the Düsseldorf office.

• Advice in the context of compliance investigations on liability and insurance law issues (e.g. insurance claims and liability claims against responsible parties)
